2024 Jawa 42 available in 14 colour options

- Gets six new colour shades

- Engine updated for better refinement and NVH levels

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles recently launched the new 42 retro roadster in India at Rs. 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle receives significant upgrades in the engine and cosmetic departments. With the MY24 update, the new Jawa 42 is now available in 14 colour options.

For 2024, Jawa has introduced six new colours for the new 42, while the existing eight paint shades continue unchanged. The six new colour options are Vega White, Asteroid Grey, Voyager Red, Odyssey Black, Celestial Copper Matte, and Nebula Blue. 

The other paint shades are Orion Red Matte, Sirius White Matte, All Star Black Matte, Infinity Black Matte, Starship Blue, Cosmic Carbon, and Cosmic Rock.

Yezdi Jawa Motorcycles claims that it has made changes to the motorcycle’s engine to make it more refined and improve its NVH levels. The 294cc, J-Panther, liquid-cooled motor makes 27bhp and 26.84Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox that comes with an assist and slipper clutch.

Design-wise, the 2024 Jawa 42 continues with a modern retro styling. The motorcycle competes against the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and the Honda CB350RS. Yezdi Jawa Motorcycles plans to expand its network to over 500 dealerships in India by the end of 2024.
