India Kawasaki Motors is offering a discount of Rs 10,000 on its entry-level sportbike, the Ninja 300. The discount is available in the form of a voucher and it can be redeemed against the ex-showroom price of the bike which stands at Rs. 3.43 lakh (excluding discount). This a limited-period offer and is valid only till 30 September, 2024.
Besides the Ninja 300, Kawasaki has announced similar discounts on the Ninja 500 and Ninja 650. It looks like the company wants to make the most of the oncoming festive season when the buying sentiment is generally high. Kawasaki might roll out more such offers in the coming months.
Powering the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a 296cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 38.4bhp and 26.1Nm of peak torque. It is linked with a six-speed gearbox, which gets an assist and slipper clutch as standard. The cycle parts on the bike include telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Its stopping power comes from petal-type disc brakes at both ends, while a dual-channel ABS comes as standard. Moreover, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at the front and back.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 competes against the likes of the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Yamaha YZF-R3, and the Aprilia RS 457.
