Kawasaki India has announced the launch of the 2024 Z H2 and Z H2 SE in our market with prices starting from Rs. 23.48 lakh. The SE variant, which benefits from more premium hardware, is available at Rs. 27.76 lakh. Notably, both motorcycles carry a similar design that comprises an aggressively shaped headlight at the front, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, a side-slung exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels on both sides.
The standard model is available in Metallic Carbon Grey with Ebony paint theme. The more premium Z H2 SE, on the other hand, is listed in the Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Grey with Ebony colour. The latter also benefits from a green colour for the frame and the engine cowl.
The mechanical specifications on both variants comprise a 998cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a supercharger that makes 197.2bhp at 11,000rpm and 137Nm at 8,500rpm. This motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Then, the braking setup on both motorcycles includes twin 320mm front discs and a single 260mm rotor. Further, the standard version packs a manually adjustable suspension setup, while the SE version benefits from Showa Skyhook Technology, which brings electronically adjustable shock absorption hardware.
The Kawasaki Z H2 range rivals the likes of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and the BMW S 1000 R in the Indian market. The bookings for both products have commenced in India.
