Kawasaki recently launched the 2024 Z900 in India, priced at Rs. 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle is available in two colour options – Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey.
Powering the Z900 is a 948cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 123.6bhp at 9,500rpm and a peak torque of 98.6Nm at 7,700rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is underpinned by a steel trellis frame, which is hinged on upside-down forks up front and a rear monoshock. Braking tasks are performed by dual 300mm discs at the front and a single 250mm disc at the rear. The safety net includes dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres.
Feature-wise, the Kawasaki Z900 comes loaded with a traction control system, riding modes, full-LED lighting, power modes (low and full), and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. In terms of competition, the Kawasaki Z900 rivals the BMW F900R, Triumph Street Triple RS, and the Ducati Monster in India.
