- New Dark Galvano colour introduced
- Electronic Orange trim gets updated
- Dark Silver Metallic trim continues to be on sale
KTM has refreshed the 200 Duke for 2024 by launching two new colours for the motorcycle. These shades are called Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano and will be sold alongside the existing Dark Silver Metallic trim. The Electronic Orange colour was already available but the latest version boasts a new, edgier set of decals along with a white tail section, unlike the silver panels on the previous version.
The bodywork of the bike remains unchanged. It continues to sport a low-slung, single-piece LED headlamp which is the same as the 250 Duke two generations back. It also gets the old 13.4-litre fuel tank with sharp extensions and a pointed tail section with half of the sub-frame exposed. We believe it’s about time KTM should update the 200 Duke visually by giving it the same bodywork as the new 250 Duke and 390 Duke.
KTM has also left the hardware package untouched. It continues to be powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 24.67bhp and 19.3Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with WP USD forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock. The braking hardware comprises a 320mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. On the feature front, it comes equipped with LED headlamp and tail lamp, and an LCD dash which is deprived of Bluetooth connectivity.
The KTM 200 Duke is priced at Rs. 1.97 lakh (ex-showroom) and it competes against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Yamaha MT 15.
