-Gets new Black and Blue colurway
-No mechanical changes
-Price remains the same
KTM India has introduced a new colour option for its 250 Duke street naked motorcycle. Instead of giving the new colour a fancy name, they’ve simply termed it as Black and Blue. The colour is far more subtle than the shouty Ceramic White and Electronic Orange colours that the 250 Duke was available with so far.
The fuel tank, headlight cowl and part of the side panel gets a dark blue colour while part of the tank extension and the mid to the tail section is covered with contrasting black paint. To keep the bike’s appearance from being dull, the wheels are painted in KTM’s signature orange colour and we see the same treatment for the decals on the tank extensions. The bike certainly looks attractive in the new colourway.
The rest of the mechanicals, be it the engine, frame, suspension or the features are unchanged. To recap, the KTM 250 Duke is powered by a 249.07cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 30.57bhp at 9250rpm and 25Nm at 7250rpm. During our tests, we found the KTM 250 Duke to be quite a sprightly and enthusiastic motorcycle to ride. In terms of competition it goes up against the TVS Apache RTR 310.
