- Gets two new colour schemes
- Remains mechanically the same
- India launch might be on the cards
KTM has globally unveiled the 2024 edition of the RC 390. While it remains the same on the mechanical front, the Austrian bike maker has rolled out two new colour options for the sportbike which we expect to enter India soon.
The more fresh-looking of the two new shades is the blue trim which boasts streaks of white and orange on its fairing along with a huge ‘RC’ decal. The second colour sports orange on the majority of its bodywork accompanied by black slashes on the fairing and tank and a black front fender. Both these colours undoubtedly lend a fresh visual appeal to the bike.
The motorcycle continues to be powered by the same 373.27cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 42.9bhp and 37Nm. This mill comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, an assist and slipper clutch, and a quick shifter.
Underpinned by a tubular steel trellis chassis, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by USD forks and monoshock, both sourced from WP. Braking is handled by a single disc front and back, assisted by dual-channel ABS with the option to turn off the ABS for the rear wheel.
While these new shades of the KTM RC 390 are alluring, what truly excites us is the thought of the unveiling of the heavily revised version of the motorcycle that has been spied on multiple times till now.
