Ola Electric has added another variant to its e-scooter lineup and this time it is for the S1X range. The brand has recently launched the S1X with a 4kWh battery pack and it sits above the entire range in terms of pricing. Here, we have explained what all the S1X variants have to offer.
S1X (2kWh and 3kWh)
Both these models differ in terms of the battery size which further translates to the range as well. The 2kWh setup offers 85kmph top speed and a maximum true range of 84 km while the 3kWh model gets 90kmph top speed and 125km true range. Naturally, the larger battery takes seven hours and 40 minutes for a full charge while the 2kWh option does it in five hours. That said, Ola has offered the same 4.3-inch LCD on all the S1X variants except the Plus. The S1 weighs 7kg less with the 2kWh battery pack compared to the 3kWh model that tips the scale at 108kg. It features all LED illumination, and three ride modes – Eco, Normal, and Sports. Other features like OTA updates, predictive maintenance, cruise control, and reverse mode are also available. The asking price for the S1X with the 2kWh battery is Rs. 79,999 whereas the 3kWh model costs Rs. 89,999 (both ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
S1X+
This is the top-spec variant in the S1X lineup. The Ola S1+ also gets a 3kWh battery pack with a 2.7kW motor. It offers 90kmph of top speed and 125km of maximum range. While Ola has offered three ride modes with the S1X +, this variant also gets additional features like smartphone connectivity for GPS, remote boot lock/unlock, along with cruise control, OTA updates, and other shared features. The asking price for the Ola S1X + is Rs. 99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
S1X (4kWh)
Last but not least, the new S1X with the 4kWh battery pack gets 90kmph of top speed with 134km of maximum range. It also features a 4.3-inch LCD with three ride modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport – reverse mode, OTA updates, cruise control, and more. The S1X with the 4kWh battery pack costs Rs. 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This makes it the most expensive variant of the S1X lineup.
