The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 2 lakh, ex-showroom. The Classic 350 has received a set of new colours and features as part of the 2024 updates.
Starting with the features, the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets a new LED headlight and position light. This adds a bit of a modern touch to the retro-styled motorcycle. It also gets an adjustable clutch as well as brake levers, and a gear position indicator, both of which are pretty useful features. Lastly, a USB type-C charger has been added.
The new colours that the Classic 350 is available in are Emerald, Jodhpur Blue, Commando Sand, Madras Red, Medallion Bronze, Sand Grey, and Stealth Black. Royal Enfield is offering alloy wheels with the Stealth Black colour only.
Mechanically, there are no changes. The bike is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, engine that makes 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. It is linked with a five-speed gearbox. The engine is known for its refinement and responsiveness.
The bike has a cradle frame that is suspended by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. It rides on 18-inch wheels while braking duties are performed by a disc brake at both ends except for the base variant that gets a drum brake at the rear.
Bookings and test rides for the 2024 Classic 350 begin on 1 September. In terms of competition, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 goes up against the Honda H’ness CB350 and the Jawa 350.
