- Unveiled on 12 August
- Price announcement due tomorrow
- Gets new colours and additional features
Royal Enfield is all set to officially launch the 2024 Classic 350 in India tomorrow, 1 September. The company unveiled the updated model of the motorcycle on 12 August but the price announcement is due tomorrow. The motorcycle has received subtle visual updates and additional features while remaining unchanged mechanically.
The bulb-type headlamp and tiger lamps have made way for LED units while adjustable clutch and brake levers have also been included. The top-spec variant incorporates LED turn indicators, while the lower trims retain bulb indicators. Although the instrument cluster has remained unchanged, the tiny LCD now has a gear position indicator. A USB-C charging port completes the list of new features added on the bike.
While the bodywork of the 2024 Classic 350 remains the same as before, Royal Enfield has rolled out seven new colour options including Emerald, Jodhpur Blue, Commando Sand, Madras Red, Medallion Bronze, Sand Grey, and Stealth Black. The latter gets alloy wheels as standard while the rest of the trims get spoke wheels.
The technical specifications of the 2024 Classic 350 have been left untouched. It continues to be powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, J-series engine that pumps out 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The air/oil-cooled motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. Other details include 18-inch wheels, telescopic front forks, dual springs, and a disc brake at both ends. The lower variants get a disc-drum braking setup.
