- Gets four new colours and funky graphics
- Priced the same at Rs. 92,000 (ex-showroom)
- No mechanical updates
Suzuki has launched the 2024 Avenis 125 in India with a price tag of Rs. 92,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has introduced four new colour options for the scooter for 2024 including yellow, white, red, and black. Besides the base colour, what differentiates these paint schemes from the previous model is the funky graphics on the side panels and front apron. With this visual makeover, Suzuki expects to attract more GenZ riders and increase footfall in its showrooms.
The 2024 Avenis 125 remains the same as before in every other aspect. It continues to be powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that is tuned to produce 8.5bhp at 6,750rpm and a peak torque of 10Nm at 5,500rpm. The unit comes paired with a CVT unit. Tipping the scales at 106kg (kerb), the Avenis rides on 12-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock while braking is handled by a disc-drum combination.
On the feature front, the Avenis 125 gets a fully digital instrument cluster which gets Bluetooth connectivity. Once paired with the rider’s smartphone via the Suzuki Ride Connect app, it gives access to turn-by-turn navigation, and SMS, WhatsApp, and call alerts. Moreover, there’s an LED headlamp and tail lamp, integrated engine start and kill switch, silent starter, side stand interlock, USB socket, and a 21.8-litre under-seat storage provision.
