The 2024 Suzuki Burgman Street has received a new colour option. It is called the Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and is priced at Rs 98,299, ex-showroom, Delhi. The new colour looks quite interesting with most of the bodywork painted in matte black. Adding some contrast to the appearance are the maroon panels on the central portion of the front apron and the bottom of the side panels.
Mechanically, there are no changes to the scooter. The Burgman Street is based on the Suzuki Access 125 platform and is powered by a 124cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It makes 8.58bhp at 6.500rpm, 10Nm at 5,500rpm and is paired with a CVT. This engine is known for its peppy nature while also being quite frugal when it comes to fuel-efficiency.
The Burgman Street is larger and more spacious than the Access 125. It has a longer seat, more floorboard space and in true maxi-scooter style, the provision to stretch your foot and ride comfortably.
In terms of features, it gets a 21.5-litre boot, a glove box with a USB socket and an LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Suzuki Burgman Street goes up against the TVS Jupiter 125.
