Along with the 2024 Tiger lineup, Triumph India has launched the 2024 Speed Triple 1200 RS in India. The British streetfighter is now available in a new paint scheme of Carnival Red alongside its existing options of Sapphire Black, Matt Silver Ice, and Matt Baja Orange. That said, the Carnival Red paint scheme is priced at Rs. 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is the same as the orange colour.
The 2024 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS is powered by an 1160cc, inline, three-cylinder motor that makes 177.5bhp and 125Nm. It’s linked to a six-speed gearbox and comes with a bi-directional quickshifter as well. The bike also gets other rider aids like five ride modes (Rain, Road, Sport, Track, and Rider), traction control, ABS, wheelie control, cruise control, and more.
Triumph has also offered other features like LED illumination, a full TFT screen and smartphone connectivity on the Speed Triple RS. As for the cycle parts, it gets fully adjustable USD front forks and a rear shock from Ohlins. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises twin 320mm front discs and a single rear disc. The setup is mounted on 17-inch alloys wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V3 tyres.
The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS is the most powerful naked motorcycle from the British maker for India. It rivals the Ducati Streetfighter V4, BMW S 1000 R, and the Kawasaki ZH2.
