Triumph has updated the bigger sibling of the recently launched Speed 400 in international markets, even though the update isn’t all that significant.

- Gets two new colour schemes
- Will be launched in India soon
Triumph Motorcycles has updated the bigger sibling of the recently launched Speed 400 for 2024. The Speed Twin 900 now receives a fresher appeal in international markets alongside its slightly more off-road focused version- the Scrambler 900.
The new upgrade comes in the form of two colors: Carnival Red and Phantom Black. While the Carnival Red colour combines with the black parts and stripe on the fuel tank, the Phantom Black is a unique looking colour. While it also comes with blacked-out components and a black stripe running vertical on the tank, its shade is more of a dark green than black. Apart from these paint options, the motorcycle remains the same as before.
Powering the neo-retro styled motorcycle is a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 64.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,800rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The Speed Twin 900 is based on a tubular steel twin cradle frame which uses telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear. Meanwhile braking is done by single discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The Triumph Speed Twin 900 tips the scales at 216kg with its 12-litre fuel tank full and offers a low-seat height of just 765mm.
Now, we can expect Triumph to launch the 2024 Speed Twin 900 in the country sometime later this year along with the rest of the updated 2024 range.
