- Tiger 900 Rally and Tiger 900 GT Aragon Editions revealed
- Both models get a special paint theme
- India launch details unavailable yet
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the special edition variants of its middleweight adventure tourers, the Tiger 900 Rally and Tiger 900 GT. Christened as the Aragon Edition, these new variants celebrate the Trail category victory by Ivan Cervantes at the 38th annual Baja España Aragon event. These special edition models benefit from visual and performance upgrades over their respective standard versions.
The Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition, for example, features a triple-tone paint theme that is complemented by Racing Yellow accents on the front beak, radiator shrouds, and fuel tank. Further, the motorcycle also boasts a prominent 'Tiger' branding along with special 'Aragon Edition' details. This variant of the Tiger 900 Rally comes standard with fuel tank protector crash bars.
The GT Aragon Edition, too, gets a styling upgrade in the form of a triple-tone livery. This road-biased version features Diablo Red, Matte Phantom Black, and Crystal White colours along with 'Tiger' branding and 'Aragon Edition' details. However, unlike the Rally model, the GT variant misses the fuel tank protecting crash bars. Notably, the company is offering 65 optional accessories for both models for further customisation.
The changes to these special edition models are limited to styling upgrades. Meanwhile, the mechanical specifications remain unaltered, and the Aragon Editions of the Tiger 900 Rally and Tiger 900 GT retain the 888cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this engine delivers a maximum output of 93.9bhp at 8,750rpm and a peak torque of 87Nm at 7,250rpm.
The India launch details of these special edition motorcycles are not available yet.
