- Comes in a new Baja Orange colour scheme internationally
- Technical specifications remain the same
- Likely to be launched in India
Triumph has updated the Tiger Sport 660 for 2024 in the international markets. As a part of the update, the company has introduced a new Baja Orange colour scheme with Phantom Black stripes on its front cowl and fuel tank. We expect this colour scheme to arrive on the Indian shores soon. As of now, Triumph India retails the Tiger Sport 660 in three colours including Lucerne Blue & Sapphire Black, Korosi Red & Graphite, and Graphite & Sapphire Black.
The Tiger Sport 660 remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 660cc, inline triple cylinder engine that produces 80bhp and 64Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. While an assist and slipper clutch is available as standard, a quick shifter comes as an option. Suspension duties are handled by USD forks and a monoshock sourced from Showa while Nissin callipers bring the bike to a halt. With a fuel tank capacity of 17.2 litres, the kerb weight of the bike stands at 206kg.
On the design front, the Tiger Sport strikes a great balance between an upright stance and a sporty visual appeal. On the feature front, it’s decently loaded as there’s full-LED lighting, a twin-pod digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, switchable traction control, switchable ABS, and two riding modes (Rain and Road) as standard.
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 retails for Rs. 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom) in India and its closest rivals is the Kawasaki Versys 650.
