-To get styling updates
-Likely to get a quickshifter
-Expected to get cruise control as well
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 is expected to launch on 16 September. The bike has been spotted testing recently and we could spot a few visual updates. The bike is also likely to get a few updates in the electronics department.
Visually, there will be a few tweaks. The test bike is seen with aerodynamic winglets on the side fairings. These winglets are a common sight on superbikes. TVS seems to have taken a leaf out of their design books to spruce up the looks of the RR 310.
Besides the additional bodywork, expect to see new colours and graphics on the bike. We could also see a BTO (Built-to-order) variant in the TVS Racing team’s colours. This should be similar to the Sepang Blue colour on the TVS Apache RTR 310. We could also see a blacked-out exhaust end can which should go with the sporty appearance of the bike
Some of the features from the Apache RTR 310 are expected to trickle down to the TVS Apache RR 310. The list should include a bi-directional quick shifter, cruise control, traction control and cornering ABS. We may also see the addition of a heated/cooled seat on the bike. The new Apache RR 310 should become the most feature-loaded motorcycle in the segment with the addition of these new features.
Mechanically, there might be a few tweaks to the engine. Currently, the 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine makes 33.5bhp and 27.3Nm. TVS may tweak the engine to produce a little more power. The RTR 310’s engine, for example, makes 35.08bhp. In terms of the chassis, however, we don’t expect to see any changes.
The bike is expected to be launched around mid September and we will be riding it soon.
