-Gets new colour
-Powered by a 312.2cc engine
-Makes 38bhp and 29Nm
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 has been launched in India at Rs 2.75 lakh. The bike has received significant updates, both visually as well as mechanically. Here is what is new.
The design of the bike is largely the same, save for the new 'Apache' decals that add a dose of freshness to the bike’s appearance. The Racing Red colour is priced at Rs 2.75 lakh. Add a quickshifter to the aforementioned colour and the price goes up to Rs 2.92 lakh. There's also the new Bomber Grey colour that looks striking which will set you back by Rs 2.97 lakh. All these prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Not that the design required any tweaking, as it always looked good. What is a new addition, however, is a pair of winglets that generate 3kg of downforce. There is a transparent clutch cover as well.
The bike is powered by a 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 38bhp at 9,800rpm and 29Nm at 7,900rpm. TVS has made a few tweaks to the engine to extract more power. It has a 13 per cent larger airbox, increased throttle body diameter and increased volumetric efficiency. The forged piston is 10 per cent lighter for a faster revving engine.
TVS claims the 2024 bike is nearly half a second quicker from 0-100kmph than the outgoing bike. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter. The trellis frame, USD fork and monoshock suspension are the same as before and so are the brakes.
In terms of features, the bike gets all LED lights and a TFT display that changes the layout depending on the ride mode that is selected. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
TVS is offering the 2024 Apache RR 310 with two kits via the Built to Order or BTO platform. These are called the Dynamic Kit and the Dynamic Pro Kit. The former gets you adjustable front and rear suspension, brass coated drive chain and TPMS. The Dynamic Pro kit, meanwhile, brings you the Race Tune Dynamic Stability Control or RTDSC system. This comprises the cornering traction control, cornering ABS, cornering cruise control, wheelie control, and rear lift-off control.
TVS has priced the Apache RR 310 Dynamic kit at Rs 18,000 while the Dynamic Pro kit will set you back by Rs 16,000. One can also choose the Race Replica version for an additional Rs 7,000. It essentially gets you the body panels painted in TVS' race bike livery, with a personalised race number as well.
Bookings for the 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 are open across all TVS premium dealerships in India.
