The TVS Apache RR 310 has received another round of updates in its life cycle and some significant ones at that. There are cosmetic as well as mechanical changes and here is a list of what is new on the Apache RR 310.
Visual changes
The TVS Apache RR 310 has always been a good-looking motorcycle and even after all these years, it still grabs eyeballs. For 2024, TVS has changed the size and positioning of the ‘Apache’ decal. It is much more prominent than before.
The company has also added a new, Bomber Grey colour this year and it looks stunning, especially with the red wheels.
The side fairings get a winglet each and these not only serve an aesthetic purpose but a functional one as well. TVS claims these wings generate 3kg of downforce, pressing the tyres into the road surface and enhancing grip, especially while cornering.
Lastly, a transparent clutch cover rounds off the list of visual upgrades that the bike gets.
More powerful engine
The 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine has been around ever since the bike was launched. For 2024, this engine gets a set of upgrades that have helped increase the peak power to 38bhp at 9,800rpm. This is the most powerful state of tune that this engine has ever been in on the production bike. Peak torque, meanwhile, is 29Nm at 7,900rpm.
While TVS has managed to squeeze more power from the engine, it will be interesting to see if they have managed to dampen the vibrations even further than before.
More electronics
The TVS Apache RR 310 gets a comprehensive upgrade to its electronics suite. It gets cruise control, bi-directional quick shifter, cornering traction control, cornering ABS, wheelie control and rear wheel lift-off control. These new additions make the TVS Apache RR 310 the most feature-rich motorcycle in the segment.
