We rode the new 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 and came back quite impressed. What’s so good, you ask? Read our first ride review of the scooter to find out. As of now, here’s a quick summary of the review along with its pictures.
The 2024 Jupiter is new in almost every area, including design. While it retains the family-scooter persona, the overall bodywork is chiseled to look sharper and sportier than the decade-old design of its predecessor.
It has also improved on the practicality front with the fuel filler moving at the front and the underseat storage being substantially bigger than before.
The higher-spec SmartXonnect variants also get a new large LCD console which, besides showing a host of information, offers smartphone connectivity and gives access to maps and SMS and call notifications.
The new Jupiter is just as significantly revamped on the mechanical front as its design. Underpinned by the same frame as the Jupiter 125, it runs on a 113cc engine which is bigger than the previous 109cc motor.
The updated engine produces 8bhp at 6,500rpm and 9.2Nm at 5,000rpm. To make overtakes easier, TVS has also equipped it with an iGo assist tech which increases the torque output to 9.8Nm.
Just like the previous Jupiter, the new one feels refined and free of vibrations for the most part. Even the throttle response is progressive and smooth.
Despite bestowing the new Jupiter 110 with major upgrades, TVS has managed to price it almost the same as before. It starts from Rs. 73,700 and goes up to Rs. 87,250, ex-showroom.
