India Yamaha Motor has launched the new S variant of the Fascino 125 with an addition of a new ‘Answer Back’ feature. This model of the scooter is available in Matte Red and Matte Black colours priced at Rs. 93.730 and Dark Matte Blue shade which costs Rs. 94,530 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new ‘Answer Back’ function allows the owners to locate their scooter from a distance by activating both side indicators and the horn for close to two seconds. To avail of this feature, the users need to install the ‘Yamaha Scooter Answer Back’ application from Google Playstore/App Store and press the answer back option on the app. Besides, the new Fascino S continues to get the existing features including silent starter and automatic start and stop function with Normal and Traffic modes.
The technical specifications of the 2024 Fascino S also remain the same as before. It continues to be powered by a 125cc, air-cooled engine that produces 8.04bhp and 10.3Nm. It boasts a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres and weighs 99kg (kerb). Riding on a 12-10-inch alloy wheel combination, the Fascino is suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock while the braking hardware comprises a disc at the front and a drum at the rear. The most affordable variant gets a drum brake at both ends.
The 2024 Yamaha Fascino S compete against the likes of the Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, and Hero Destini 125.
