Yamaha recently unveiled the 2024 edition of the MT-09 for the international markets. While it’s bound to come to India, we don’t know the exact launch timeline as of now. So, as we wait for its India arrival, let’s take a look at some of the pictures of the 2024 MT-09.
Yamaha has completely overhauled the design of the MT-09 and made it look more sinister now. The front fascia, in particular, resembles a mantis which makes it look radical.
The design of the fuel tank and tail section has also been altered to exude a more muscular and brawny look.
It also gets a new instrumentation setup in the form of a five-inch colour TFT dash with smartphone connectivity for showing call and SMS notifications along with navigation.
Other new features include three preset and two customisable riding modes, standard cruise control, and self-cancelling turn indicators.
The KYB front and rear suspension setup has been tweaked in terms of spring rate and damping for better control, handling, and stability. Similarly, the Brembo brakes have also been improved.
What’s more, the 2024 MT-09 rides on 17-inch spinforged aluminium wheels that come shod with new Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 tyres.
The engine continues to be the same 890cc, CP3, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 117.3bhp at 10,000rpm and a peak torque of 93Nm at 7,000rpm.
Lastly, the 2024 Yamaha MT-09 has been facilitated with tweaked ergonomics. This includes repositioned handlebar and footpegs with two-step adjustability for both.
