Yamaha has launched three new colours for the R15 V4, called Vivid Magenta Metallic, Racing Blue and Metallic Red. The Vivid Magenta Metallic is a striking colour comprising a dark-grey base with contrasting blue and pink stickers. Adding to the contrasting element are the dark pink wheels. This new colour surely looks bold and it’ll be interesting to see what it looks like in the flesh.
The Racing Blue colour, on the other hand, looks rather fetching and is pretty similar to the colour you see in the recently launched R3, down to the light-blue decals. Then, we have the third colour, the Metallic Red. It looks deeper than before in terms of the shade and has also received minor updates to the decals on the fairing.
The price of the R15 in the new colourways is Rs. 1.87 lakh, ex-showroom. In all, the Yamaha R15 V4 is now available in five colours, with prices starting at Rs. 1.82 lakh.
Besides the addition of new colours, the company has not made any mechanical changes to the R15. The bike is powered by an ultra-sweet, 155cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder engine that makes 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm. It is a rev-happy engine that offers good performance but not at the expense of fuel efficiency.
In addition to the V4 variant, the R15 is also available in the top-spec, R15M version. It gets an exclusive metallic grey colour, gold USD fork, and a colour TFT display. It is priced at Rs. 1,96 lakh, ex-showroom.
