Here’s someone who needs no excuses to set off into the horizon. As it turns out, we’ve caught him in the nick of time. He explains why.
‘I’m actually going on a ride tomorrow - down to Kochi - so you got me here at the right time! Honestly, I’m not cut-out for staying home. There is a world out there that’s waiting to be explored and that’s exactly why I bought an Adventure. It’s a bike that makes everything happen for me,’ he says with a glint of madness in his eyes.
What does a motorcycle need to do, though, to keep up with this kind of spirit? ‘First of all, it needs to inspire - not just keep up,’ he says. ‘That’s the first and most important thing. For me, when I look at the Adventure, I start thinking about all kinds of landscapes and backdrops. To tell you the truth, it’s the bike that makes the plans for me!.’ That sounds like a fun pairing, if you ask us.
Quizzed on how demanding this kind of riding itinerary can get on his bike, he expresses no concerns. A believer of the true capabilities of the Adventure, Prasad admires his bike for its suspension, ground clearance, its ability to go anywhere - and to do so while keeping its rider in absolute comfort. ‘In fact, I don’t even care to slow down for potholes anymore!,’ he quips.
In his narration of his ownership experience of the Adventure, he touches upon a fundamental aspect. ‘See, with an Adventure, you can really be very carefree because it’s a really well-built bike and the service is really top-notch and very affordable. You can have your bike attended to almost anywhere in India and the experience, for me, has always been very professional and friendly. Honestly, that’s what gives you even more confidence to do the kind of riding I do.’ That’s a credible observation.
