The 2025 Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory were introduced at the EICMA 2024. The superbikes received a few updates for next year, both in terms of the visuals and the hardware.
The design of the new RSV4 is sharper, sportier and more purposeful than the previous bike. Aprilia has incorporated a new aero winglet at the front. Apart from being more aggressive, they offer an eight per cent reduction in a wheelie.
Also, the drag coefficient has been reduced by six percent. As for the overall design, the RSV4 and the RSV4 Factory continue to looks delectable. For 2025, the bikes also get new colours, including the very striking Stringray Blue.
Aprilia has also introduced a new predictive electronic control strategy for 2025. This system processes parameters such as speed, lean angle, throttle position and more to anticipate what will happen next and optimise the intervention of systems like traction control and wheelie control. All settings can be changed via a 5-inch TFT display.
Powering the bike is a 1099cc, V4 engine that makes 220bhp which is 3bhp more than before and 125Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Aprilia has also increased the throttle body size by 4mm to 52mm. To help with improving cooling, the engine has new radiator fans.
As for the chassis, the RSV4, gets a new, lighter top triple clamp. While the frame is the same, the RSV4 Factory gets new Ohlins Smart EC2.0 semi-active suspension. As for the brakes, Aprilia has fitted the new Brembo Hypure brake calipers that is also seen on the new Ducati Panigale V4.
Aprilia is expected to launch the RSV4 and RSV4 Factory in India sometime next year.
