BMW Motorrad has unveiled the 2025 S 1000 R for the international markets. The naked streetfighter version of the BMW S 1000 RR gets many visual and mechanical updates for 2025. These upgrades are claimed to improve the overall performance of the bike.
The 2025 BMW S 1000 R engine gets a revised geometry for the intake ports, while the new mapping has increased power to 170bhp at 11,000rpm. Furthermore, the final-drive ratio is now shorter to improve acceleration.
On the electronics front, the new S 1000 R receives BMW’s latest M Quick-Action Throttle, Optimized Shift Assistant quickshifter for clutchless upshifts and downshifts, and Drag Torque Control (MSR). Moreover, the ‘Engine Brake’ has four adjustable settings to adjust engine-braking torque. The motorcycle also gets BMW’s intelligent emergency call E-Call, under-seat type-C USB charger, and a new dual-flow LED headlight.
The 2025 S 1000 R is available in three colours – Black Storm Metallic, Bluefire, and Light White with M Motorsport graphics. The BMW S 1000 R will be launched in international markets in early 2025, while deliveries are likely to commence in Q2 2025.
