The new Ducati Multistrada V4 has been unveiled and features several changes. Ducati has updated the versatile ADV in every way imaginable and while you can read the full details, here is a summary of what is new.
The design of the Ducati Multistrada V4 is striking. The visual updates include more colour on the fuel tank and the extensions as well as on the beak. The front end looks more aggressive than ever before.
The Multistrada V4 and V4 S are available in the following colours- Ducati Red, Thrilling Black and Artic White.
There are several updates to the electronics package. The V4 S gets a new monoshock with an automatic lowering device. Under 10kmph, it drops the bike low and helps the rider place their feet on the ground comfortably.
The Ducati Skyhook, electronic semi-active suspension now has a sensor in the front fork and a brand new monoshock. The suspension works in association with the new Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system to offer real-time suspension adjustment.
Powering the Ducati Multistrada V4 and V4 S is a 1,158cc V4, Granturismo engine that makes 170bhp at 10,750rpm and 124Nm at 9,000rpm. The engine also has a prolonged rear cylinder bank deactivation which shuts off the rear bank even at low speeds and not when the bike comes to a standstill, as was the case earlier.
There’s a new Wet mode as well, where the power drops to 115bhp and the power delivery becomes softer.
The rider can adjust the semi-active suspension settings individually of the ride modes and this offers even more flexibility.
Other changes to the chassis include a new swingarm pivot position that is raised by 1mm for better anti-squat functionality under hard acceleration, even with full load. The Multistrada V4 S also can be optioned with new forged alloy wheels that are 2kg lighter than the regular alloy wheels.
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 and V4 S are likely to be available in the Indian market towards the end of this year or early next year.
