-Gets new livery
- Has a sportier riding position
-Gets new Marchesini forged alloy wheels
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pike Peak has broken cover in international markets. For the uninitiated, the Pikes Peak is the road-biased, sportier version of the Multistrada V4. For 2025, the bike has received visual tweaks along with new components.
Visually, the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak gets a new livery that is inspired by Ducati’s MotoGP and WSBK race bikes. The beak and the front fairing are covered in black while the red and silver on the fuel tank and its extensions contrast very well. The bike does get a rather sinister appearance with the new colours and it goes with the sportier application of this Multistrada.
In keeping with the sporty application of the bike, the Ducati has revised the ergonomics of the bike. The handlebar is narrower and lower while the footpegs are placed higher and further behind for a more front-loaded riding position.
The chassis of the bike is the same, including the Ohlins suspension. However, the Marchesini 17-inch forged rims are new and have a five-spoke design which adds to the sportier appearance, especially with the single-sided swingarm.
As is the case with the 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S, Ducati gas raised the swingarm pivot point by 1mm on the ‘Pikes Peak’ as well. The raised pivot point improves the anti-squatting ability of the bike, especially while accelerating hard out of corners. Also, the bike gets a new 280mm rear disc, like the other V4s.
In terms of electronics, the bike gets a new Wet mode which makes it easier to control the bike on rain-soaked surfaces. The Sport and Touring modes have also been optimised.
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is powered by a 1,158cc, V4 engine that develops 170bhp at 10,750rpm and 124Nm at 9,000rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. For 2025, Ducati has added a new Akrapovic titanium exhaust with titanium end caps. This not only helps shed weight but also enhances the sound of the bike.
Ducati will begin rolling the bike into showrooms across international markets next month. The new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is expected to debut in India shortly after the launch of the 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S.
