The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 builds on the already impressive capabilities of the 2024 Panigale while incorporating much customer feedback that Ducati has gathered over the years. The focus has been on improving the performance of the bike whilst making it more accessible to a wider audience. Remember the first Panigale V4 that was quite demanding? Here’s what is new on the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4.
Improved aerodynamics
The way a motorcycle cuts through the air is of paramount importance when it comes to superbikes. The new bodywork of the Panigale V4 is not just stunning to look at, but it also plays a functional role. It makes the bike four percent more slippery through the air. Less resistance means more speed and isn’t that an area where a superbike is supposed to excel?
The details
If you look at the font end closely, you’ll notice that the mirror stalks are placed behind the front fairing. The central air intake is placed right below the nose and tucked away almost out of sight. The winglets flank the air intake and contribute to the mean-looking face of the new Panigale V4.
Chassis changes
Perhaps, one of the biggest changes that may or may not have sat well with the purists. The Panigale V4 with the single-sided swingarm has been one of the most attractive design elements of the bike. For 2025, however, Ducati has sacrificed it for a new, double-sided, hollow swingarm. This has been done to enhance grip while powering out of corners. The “Front Frame” of the bike has a 40 percent reduction in lateral stiffness but longitudinal stiffness is unchanged.
New Brakes
The Panigale V4 is the first bike in the segment to get Brembo's new Hypure brake calipers. These brakes are lighter than the outgoing Brembo Stylema calipers while also being more efficient at heat extraction. The brakes run cooler and are hence more effective at slowing down the bike over repeated hard braking scenarios.
New TFT display
The bike has a new 6.9-inch colour TFT display. It is the largest instrument cluster seen on a bike in this segment. The layout is easy to read and has all the relevant information that a rider will need, based on the mode that is selected.
