•Now comes with under-seat exhaust setup
•Packs a newly developed 890cc motor
Ducati has unveiled the 2025 Streetfighter V2 at the EICMA and the Italian bikemaker has introduced a bunch of changes to its naked motorcycle offering. The updates are not only cosmetic but also mechanical and here is what the revised Ducati Streetfighter has to offer.
Although subtle, the 2025 Ducati Streetfighter’s headlight looks sleeker than before. The unit gets a split DRL setup over the previous single-piece LED light and sits atop a more aerodynamic headlight unit. Then, the tank extensions, radiator cowls, and the lower side fairing too are revamped thereby sporting more cuts and creases. Moreover, one cannot possibly miss the new dual under-seat exhaust setup for the 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2.
The most significant change for the Streetfighter V2 comes in the form of a new engine. It is now powered by an 890cc 90-degree V2 motor that makes 120bhp and 93.3Nm of torque. Yes, you read that right. The updated Streetfighter V2 not only gets a smaller engine but also makes less power than before. For reference, the outgoing one dishes out 150bhp. However, the updated bike’s power-to-weight ratio has also been altered as it weighs nearly 20kg less. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter.
Meanwhile, the rider aids comprise ride modes, power modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and auto tyre calibration, along with features like full LED illumination, auto indicator cut-off, and more. You can also a lap timer, anti-theft alarm, cruise control, and more as optional accessories.
Ducati has suspended the Streetfighter V2’s monocoque chassis on the new Marzocchi 43mm fully adjustable front forks and Kayaba adjustable monoshock. Its braking hardware comprises dual 320mm front and a single 245mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 190/55 rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 tyres.
In the USA, the new 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 is priced at USD 17,995 (approximately Rs. 15.16 lakh sans taxes). We expect it to debut in India very soon.
