- Compliant with OBD2B norms
- Gets a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity
- Rs. 2,300 more expensive now
Honda has launched the 2025 edition of its best-selling two-wheeler, the Activa in India. The company has not only updated the scooter to comply with the new OBD2B emission norms but has also given it additional features to keep it relevant in the market.
The most notable change has come in the form of a new 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. It is compatible with the Honda RoadSync smartphone app and offers connected features like turn-by-turn navigation and call/message alerts. Notably, the TFT screen and connectivity features are only available in the top-spec H-Smart variant of the scooter. Another addition to the feature list is a USB Type-C charging port.
The internal changes to its engine have caused a marginal increment in its power and torque output. The OBD2B-compliant, 109.51cc, air-cooled engine produces 7.8bhp at 8,000rpm and 9.05Nm at 5,500rpm. The 2025 edition also gets an idling stop system to enhance fuel efficiency. While the overall design has remained unchanged, the DLX variant of the scooter now comes with alloy wheels, just like the top-end H-Smart trim, instead of steel wheels.
The 2025 Honda Activa will be available in three variants – STD, DLX, and H-Smart with a starting price of Rs. 80,950 which makes it around Rs. 2,300 more expensive than the outgoing model.
