- ES and Adventure Sports variants get new colour schemes
- Mechanical specifications remain the same
Honda has taken the wraps off the 2025 edition of its full-size adventure tourer, the Africa Twin, for the international markets. While the mechanical specifications have remained unchanged, the ES and Adventure Sports variants of the bike have received new colours.
The Africa Twin ES variant will be available in a new swanky Pearl Glare White Shade. The older Grand Prix Red and Ballistic Black Metallic colours will continue to be available for Africa Twin standard and ES both. Meanwhile, the more road-focused Adventure Sports trim has been introduced in a new Matt Iridium Grey Metallic shade which will join the existing Pearl Glare White paint scheme.
All variants of the Honda Africa Twin are powered by the same 1,048cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 100.05bhp and 112Nm. This motor comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission system while the option of a DCT gearbox is also available. However, the chassis components differ marginally. The base AT gets Showa’s standard springs while the ES takes things a notch higher with Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment suspension setup. Plus, the Adventure Sports variant rides on a 19-17-inch spoke wheel combination, unlike the 21-17-inch setup of the rest of the variants.
In India, the Honda Africa Twin is available in manual and DCT variants that are priced at Rs. 16 lakh and Rs. 17.55 lakh, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom). The 2025 edition might be introduced on our shores soon.
