Honda has launched the 2025 version of its famous scooter – the Dio in India. This new model has been priced at Rs 74,930 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it close to Rs 1500 more expensive than the outgoing model.
For the 2025 version, the Japanese manufacturer has given it an updated OBD2B-compliant engine. This 110cc single-cylinder makes the same power output as the old model. There are no changes done to the CVT gearbox. There could be a change in mileage figure as well, but the company doesn’t reveal the ARAI fuel efficiency.
In terms of features, the Dio now gets a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster. This cluster shows various ride data like distance to empty, trip meters and also eco indicators. There’s also a Type C charging port that comes as standard.
The new Dio will be sold in two variants – STD and DLX. The DLX is being sold at Rs 85,648 as it gets all the features and also better graphics. The bookings for scooters have commenced all over India and the deliveries are expected to begin at the end of this month.
