- Gets a 4.2-inch TFT screen
- Subtly altered on the design front
- Compliant with upcoming OBD 2B norms
Honda has launched the 2025 edition of the SP 125 in India. The motorcycle has received changes in compliance with the OBD 2B emission norms along with other subtle updates. It is priced at Rs. 91,771 for the drum brake variant and Rs. 1,00,284 for the disc version (both prices are ex-showroom). While the former is around Rs. 4,000 more expensive than before, the latter has received a hike of Rs. 8,816.
Honda has subtly tweaked the motorcycle in terms of design by giving it a sharper front end and tail section with full-LED lighting. Moreover, it’s more advanced on the technology front with the inclusion of a 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app compatibility. Riders can now access turn-by-turn navigation on this screen. The feature list also includes a USB Type-C charging port now.
Despite the changes to its engine in accordance to the new OBD 2B emission norms, the 124cc, air-cooled engine continues to produce 10.7bhp and 10.9Nm of torque. This unit comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The hardware package also remains unchanged. It rides on 17-inch wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. The motorcycle weighs 116kg (kerb) and the fuel tank capacity stands at 11.2 litres.
The 2025 Honda SP 125 is available in five new colour options including Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Imperial Red Metallic, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic.
