The Honda SP160 has been updated for 2025 and as a part of the model year update, it gets cosmetic and mechanical changes. Let's take a look at it top five highlights.
Revised fascia
The 2025 Honda SP160 gets a refreshed look with a sharper front end and a sportier LED headlamp. While the overall design remains similar, the colour options have been reduced to four: Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Igneous Black, and Athletic Blue Metallic.
New features
The 2025 Honda SP160 boasts a new 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app compatibility. This instrument cluster offers turn-by-turn navigation, music playback controls, and call/SMS alerts, along with a convenient type-C USB charging port.
Updated engine
To meet the upcoming OBD-2B emission standards, Honda has updated the 162.71cc, air-cooled engine. While power has slightly decreased to 13bhp, torque has been increased to 14.8Nm. This motor continues to be paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Variants and price
The new SP160 now commands a higher price tag. The single-disc variant is priced at Rs. 1,21,951 (ex-showroom), a Rs. 3,000 increase over the previous model. The dual-disc variant is priced at Rs. 1,27,956 (ex-showroom), reflecting a Rs. 4,605 price hike.
Retained Hardware
The 2025 SP160 retains its conventional suspension setup with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, while the bike rides on 17-inch wheels.
