Kawasaki has launched the track-only 2025 KLX 230R S in the international markets. The motorcycle is priced in the US at USD 4,999, which is equivalent to Rs. 4.18 lakh when converted into Indian currency.
The 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230R S features revised bodywork, although the overall design silhouette remains more or less similar. It is available in two colours - Lime Green and Battle Gray. Besides the updated styling, the motorcycle remains unchanged mechanically.
Since the KLX 230R S is a track-only bike, it comes devoid of road-legal equipment such as a headlight, turn indicators, taillight, and mirrors. Notably, the S variant comes with a relatively lower seat height compared to the standard model.
Meanwhile, the KLX 230R S is powered by a 233cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The motor produces 19.57bhp at 8,000rpm and 20.6Nm at 6,000rpm.
Hardware on the KLX 230R S includes 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, wrapped on tube-type knobby tyres. It is suspended by telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock.In India, we get the 2024 model, which is priced at Rs. 5.21 lakh (ex-showroom). We hope Kawasaki India launches the 2025 KLX 230R S in our country soon.
