- Priced in the US at USD 6,199

Kawasaki has launched the 2025 KLX 300 in the international markets. Unlike the track-only KLX 300R off-road bike, the Kawasaki KLX 300 is a road-going dual-sport motorcycle that comes equipped with road-legal equipment such as a headlamp, mirrors, indicators, and a taillight.
The 2025 Kawasaki KLX 300 is priced in the US at USD 6,199, which is equivalent to Rs. 5.18 lakh when converted into Indian currency. In comparison, the KLX 300R costs USD 6,299 in the US. While we get the KLX 300R in India, the KLX 300 is unlikely to be launched here as it would be priced quite exorbitantly. Instead, Kawasaki is working on localising the Versys-X 300 for India, which is expected to be launched later this year.
The KLX 300 is a high-performance dual-sport bike that has been designed for both, road as well as off-road applications. For 2025, Kawasaki hasn’t carried out any mechanical or styling changes on the KLX 300. Instead, the Japanese bike maker is offering cosmetic changes in the form of a new graphics kit.
Unlike the 2024 model, which was available in three colours, the 2025 KLX 300 is only offered in two paint schemes – Lime Green and Battle Gray. Meanwhile, the KLX 300 is powered by a 292cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The motor churns out 28.6bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 26.3Nm at 7,000rpm.
In terms of hardware, the 2025 Kawasaki KLX 300 is suspended on 43mm USD forks up front and a linkage-type mono-shock at the back. It rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, wrapped in dual-purpose tyres.
