The highly popular Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R superbike has received a mild cosmetic update for 2025. The bike gets new colours that help it stand out from the previous model. Here’s a look at the images of the bike.
The ZX-10R is available in standard and KRT trims. The standard bike gets a new Metallic Flat Spark Black with Ebony colour. The KRT Edition features the Kawasaki Racing Team’s livery and it looks quite bold and eye-catching.
The Ninja ZX-10R continues to be powered by a gem of an engine. Its 998cc, inline-four engine produces 200bhp (210bhp with ram air) and 114.9Nm. The scream from the bike’s stock exhaust is what makes it one of the best sounding superbikes out there. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Under the bodywork, there is a twin spar, cast aluminium frame with a fully adjustable Showa USD fork and monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by twin 330mm discs at the front with Brembo M50 monobloc calipers and a 220mm disc at the rear.
The bike gets a host of safety features that includes traction control, ride modes and ABS. These systems can be tweaked as per the rider preferences and one can also dial in the amount of engine braking they desire as per the riding conditions or the layout of a racetrack.
At present, the prices of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R start at Rs 16.79 lakh, ex-showroom. Expect the 2025 models to cost a few thousand rupees extra, however, even then it will remain the most affordable litre-class superbike on the market.
