- Rs. 34,000 more expensive now
- Available in two colour options
- Mechanical aspects remain unchanged
The 2025 edition of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R has started reaching dealerships ahead of the brand announcing its official launch. As per our dealer source, the price of the bike has gone up by a measly Rs. 34,000 over the previous edition and the 2025 model costs Rs. 17.13 lakh, ex-showroom. While it has remained mechanically unchanged, there are two new colour options on offer and the one you see in these pictures is the KRT edition.
The KRT edition looks striking on the new bodywork of the 10R. The bold combination of green panels with white and yellow decals makes it look conspicuous. Complementing its sporty and aggressive design are a host of modern features. All the data is displayed on a colour TFT console which comes with smartphone connectivity. The rider aids include multiple riding modes, dual-channel ABS, cruise control, launch control, engine brake control, and traction control.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 998cc, inline-four engine that produces 200bhp (210bhp with ram air) and 114.9Nm. This engine is known for its refinement, tractability, and the scream from the exhaust as the engine reaches the upper end of the rev band. This sweet motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox that also gets a quick shifter. As for the hardware, it is underpinned by a twin-spar, cast aluminium frame with a fully adjustable Showa USD fork and monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by twin 330mm discs at the front with Brembo M50 monobloc calipers and a 220m disc at the rear.
