-Price increased by Rs 30,000
-No changes over the 2024 model
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R has been launched in India at Rs 8.79 lakh, ex-showroom. This makes the bike Rs 30,000 dearer than the 2024 model. However, the bike features no visual or mechanical changes over the outgoing motorcycle.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R was already an expensive motorcycle but the price hike pushed it that much closer to bigger and more powerful motorcycles. That said, the ZX-4R should appeal to those who want a compact and fast supersport bike with a screamer of an inline-four engine.
The 399cc engine makes 75.9bhp at 14,500rpm and 39Nm at 13,000rpm and it is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Under the sharp and sporty-looking bodywork, there is a steel trellis frame that is suspended by a USD fork and a monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels while braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake at the front and rear.
In terms of features, the bike gets LED lights, traction control and a TFT display with smartphone connectivity.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R is the most expensive 400cc bike in the country but it has no direct competition. That said, bikes like the Triumph Daytona 660 at Rs 9.72 lakh cost roughly a lakh more while offering more power.
