The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R KRT Edition colourway has started reaching dealerships in Mumbai. The KRT Edition features Kawasaki’s racing team livery and comes with updated graphics and a yellow highlight that helps it look fresh for 2025.
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R KRT Edition was launched globally in June. It is the only paint scheme that is available for the Ninja ZX-6R in India. Despite being mechanically unchanged, the price of the 2025 model has been bumped up and the motorcycle now costs Rs. 11.53 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The Ninja ZX-6R KRT Edition continues to be powered by a 636cc, inline-four-cylinder engine that pumps out 127bhp with ram air intake and 122bhp without it. The motor belts out a peak torque of 69Nm at 11,000rpm. It is a screamer of an engine but makes most of its power in the higher range.
Feature-wise, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R KRT Edition gets a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, four-level traction control system, two power levels and a quickshifter for clutchless upshifts only. The motorcycle also comes with four ride modes – Sport, Road, Rain and Rider. While the first three modes aren’t customisable, the Rider mode allows you to customise the power level, traction control and ABS intervention.
