- Comes in two new colour options
- Remains the same mechanically
Kawasaki has introduced the 2025 Ninja ZX-6R for the international markets. As a part of the update, the Japanese bike maker has rolled out two new colour options including Pearl Robotic White/Metallic Graphite Gray and Metallic Matte Dark Gray/Ebony. While the former looks swanky with red wheels and decals, the latter looks a bit understated with subtle blue accents and black wheels.
Besides tweaking the colour palette, Kawasaki has refrained from changing the bike in any other area. It retains the same front-squatting stance and edgy bodywork with beautifully flowing lines from its menacing front section to the pointy tail. Complementing its sporty aesthetics are a few rider aids such as an assist and slipper clutch, four riding modes, two power modes, three traction control levels, a quick shifter (only for upshifts), and ABS. It also gets a colour TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and full LED lighting.
Powering the Ninja ZX-6R is a 636cc, inline four-cylinder engine that produces 122.03bhp at 13,000rpm and 69Nm of torque at 11,000rpm. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. As for the hardware, it is underpinned by an aluminium perimeter frame and rides on 17-inch wheels that are suspended by fully adjustable 41mm upside-down forks and a monoshock, both sourced from Showa. Dual discs up front and a single disc at the carry out the braking duties along with Nissin calipers.
