- Price remains unchanged
- Gets a new colour option
- Same mechanical specifications as before
Kawasaki has launched the 2025 edition of the Vulcan S in India. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 7.10 lakh, ex-showroom which is the same as the previous model. The only change it has received is the introduction of a new colour option called the Pearl Matte Sage Green. The mechanical specifications of the bike have remained unchanged.
While the Vulcan S boasts a low-slung stance which is typical of cruisers, it looks more contemporary than the likes of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. The presence of an oval-shaped headlamp, blacked-out components, and alloy wheels lend it a modern visual appeal. Similar to all other 650cc Kawasakis, the Vulcan S is quite basic on the feature front as it gets a semi-digital console, which misses out on Bluetooth connectivity, and dual-channel ABS.
Propelling the bike is a 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 59.9bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 62.4Nm at 6,600rpm. It is underpinned by a perimeter frame that rides on an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock while stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends. Other key dimensions of the bike include a 14-litre fuel tank, 235kg of kerb weight, 705mm of seat height, and 130mm of ground clearance.
