-Based on the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure platform
-Will get the 250 Duke’s engine
-Gets an LCD instrument
The all-new KTM 250 Adventure has been spotted testing in India. While it is no secret that the new KTM 390 Adventure will be launched soon. That bike has been spotted testing often, however, this is the first time the 2025 KTM 250 Adventure has been spotted testing.
The new KTM 250 Adventure will be based on the upcoming 390 Adventure and it will share the same frame and most of the bodywork. That said, one can spot some visual differences like the lack of LED DRLs around the vertically stacked LED projector lights. KTM will also offer the 250 Adventure in dedicated colours and graphics.
The new KTM 250 Adventure will also get a simple LCD instrument cluster as seen on the Husqvarana Vitpilen 250. The 390 Adventure, being the more expensive bike, gets a colour TFT display.
The bike will be powered by the KTM 250 Duke’s engine. That engine makes 31bhp and 25Nm. Expect KTM to tune the engine and alter the final drive gearing to suit the ADV application of the bike.
The frame of the KTM 250 Adventure is suspended by a non-adjustable USD and a preload adjustable monoshock. The test bike is seen riding on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, shod with MRF tyres. Braking duties will be taken care of by a disc brake at the front and rear.
KTM is likely to price the new 250 Adventure quite competitively. The company may introduce the bike shortly after the launch of the all-new KTM 390 Adventure.
