The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure has been revealed! The highly anticipated adventure bike is on display at the EICMA 2024, and the 390 Adventure R has been spotted in these images. The KTM 390 Adventure R is the top-spec motorcycle in the new KTM 390 Adventure line-up. The production bike that we see here reveals some interesting details.
The new KTM 390 Adventure's styling is radical and continues in the same vein as other KTM ADV models. It has a Dakar Rally-bike-style front fairing, with a horseshoe-shaped LED DRL and twin, stacked LED projector lights. A tall windscreen sits right above the headlight cluster, with a little letterbox-style cutout at the top to let some air flow to the rider. One can also spot twin, LED AUX lights close to the fork stanchions.
The fuel tank appears to be large and this effect is enhanced by the tank extensions. The side and tail panels are also pretty substantial, while the rally-bike style single-piece seat looks purposeful. Some design elements that are specific to the KTM 390 Adventure R include an orange-coloured beak, knuckle guards, a frame and a portion of the seat.
Under the bodywork, there appears to be a steel trellis frame that is suspended by an adjustable WP fork and an offset monoshock. The bike rides on wire-spoke rims with tube-type tyres while braking duties will be taken care of by a disc brake at the front and rear.
Notice that the front disc has a neat cover to protect it from the elements while riding off-road. Other protective bits that appear to be standard on the 390 ADV R is the metal engine sump guard/ bash plate.
Powering the bike is the 390 Duke's liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It is likely to make the same 45.3bhp and 39Nm. This engine is known for its punchy performance in the street naked and it'll be interesting how it performs in the new 390 ADV.
In terms of features, the KTM 390 Adventure R has a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. It also has cruise control which will be quite convenient while cruising down open highways.
The bike will be officially unveiled at the EICMA 2024 tomorrow. Expect KTM to launch the new 390 Adventure in India soon after the International debut.
