-Unveiled for the first time in India
-Gets 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels
-Will be one of the 390 Adventure variants on sale
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S has been unveiled at the India Bike Week (IBW) in Goa. This is the first time that KTM has showcased the new 390 ADV in India. The 390 Adventure S is one of the variants of the bike that will be launched in India in January 2025.
The KTM 390 Adventure S bears the same design as the 390 Adventure R that was showcased at EICMA last month. However, it gets a specific colour way and the bike on display at IBW is has a mix of orange, blue and white. The bike is striking to look at.
The 390 Adventure S will have the same trellis frame as the rest of the range, suspended by an adjustable USD fork and monoshock. The talking point, however, is that the ‘S’ rides on a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear, wire-spoke wheel combo, unlike the R that has an 18-inch rear wheel. The wheels on the 390 Adventure S are shod with Apollo Tramplr tyres.
This variant is feature-loaded as well. It has all LED lights and a TFT display. Braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake at the front and back while dual-channel ABS is standard.
While the specifications will revealed in January, the 390 Adventure will be powered by the 390 Duke’s, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
Once launched, the KTM 390 Adventure S will go up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
