- Will feature a 4.1-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity
- Gets a suspension travel of 230mm and an 885mm seat height
- Ground clearance stands at 260mm
KTM unveiled the 390 Enduro R at EICMA 2024, followed by its India debut at the India Bike Week 2024. The Austrian bike maker has now revealed more details about the bike including its ground clearance, suspension travel, and features.
The KTM 390 Enduro R will sport a 4.1-inch colour TFT instrument cluster that will benefit from Bluetooth connectivity. It will also offer turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and app connectivity. The LED headlight unit is identical to the one used on the bigger 690 Enduro R. The 390 Enduro R also gets a dedicated ABS on/off switch, which will allow riders to switch off the ABS not just at the rear wheel but at both ends if required.
In terms of cycle parts, the 390 Enduro R will be suspended on WP Apex open-cartridge upside-down forks up front and a rear monoshock. The setup will be adjustable for rebound and compression at the front, and preload and rebound at the rear. The suspension travel stands at 230mm. Another highlight is the massive ground clearance of 260mm, which signifies that the Enduro R should be able to tackle hardcore off-road stuff.
The KTM 390 Enduro R will ride on a 21/18-inch spoke wheels setup. These will be wrapped on 90/90-21 front and 140/80-18 tyres. While the EICMA display bikes had Metzeler Karoo tyres, the India-spec models will get the Mitas Enduro Trail+ tyres. The bike will have a tall seat height of 885mm, which might be too intimidating for an average Indian buyer.
Powering the 390 Enduro R will be a 399cc, liquid-cooled motor. This LC4c engine develops 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is expected to be launched in India in late January 2025, while deliveries are likely to commence in February. The 390 Enduro R will be positioned between the 390 Duke and the 390 Adventure S, and we expect it to be priced at around Rs. 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
