-Gets new TFT display
-Sharper headlight cowl
-New colours introduced
The 2025 KTM 790 Duke has been unveiled in international markets. The ‘Scalpel’ as it is called, has received a few updates to give it more teeth to fight competition.
Firstly, the updated KTM 790 Duke gets a new, 5-inch TFT display. It is bigger in size and has a crisper resolution. The console features Bluetooth connectivity and there is a USB-C type charging port as well.
KTM has also tweaked the headlight cowl by giving it sharper edges. The 790 Duke also gets new colours- All Black and Black Orange. The bike still manages to look sharp and aggressive, despite being around for over half a decade.
In terms of electronics, the 790 Duke gets five ride modes- Rain, Street, Sport, Track and Performance. It also gets lean-sensitive traction control and ABS. There is a bi-directional quickshifter as well.
However, and as puzzling as it sounds, the 790 Duke comes with a Demo mode that keeps all the modes unlocked for the first 1,500km, after which one needs to pay a fee to unlock the high performance modes.
The rest of the bike is the same as before. The 790 Duke is known for the mental performance offered by its 799cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 105bhp and 87Nm.
KTM recently launched the 890 Duke R in India and there is no certainty of them launching the 2025 790 Duke in our market yet.
