KTM has taken the wraps off the 2025 890 Adventure R in the global markets. As a part of the model year update, the adventure tourer gets visual updates.
The 2025 KTM 890 Adventure R features new colours and graphics. The combination of white, orange and blue has been inspired by the KTM 450 Rally bike.
The new 890 Adventure R also gets a smartphone connectivity module that allows the rider to pair their phone with the TFT instrument cluster. This enables the riders to access turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alerts, and SMS notifications.
The adventure tourer continues to be powered by an 889cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 103bhp and 100Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The 890 Adventure R is the top-spec version, so it packs top-shelf components. It gets fully adjustable WP XPLOR upside-down forks and an adjustable rear monoshock.
Meanwhile, the motorcycle drops anchors with the help of twin 320mm discs up front and a 260mm rotor at the rear. The bike also has multiple ABS settings so you can go sideways while going off-road.
KTM recently launched the 2024 890 Adventure R in India. The bike sold in India is imported from the Philippines. So, unless KTM starts manufacturing the new 890 Adventure R in the Philippines, the chances of the 2025 model coming to our shores are sparse.
