-Gets a new paint scheme
-Powered by a 103bhp, parallel-twin engine
-Expected to launch in India next year
The 2025 KTM 890 Adventure R has been unveiled in international markets. The ADV gets cosmetics upgrades only, however, they do uplift the looks of the bike. For 2025, the 890 Adventure R gets graphics and colours that resemble the KTM 450 Rally bike. The mix of white, orange and blue is tastefully executed, not to mention the orange seat which also manages to grab attention.
The KTM 890 Adventure R also gets a connectivity module as standard. This allows the rider to pair their phone with the five-inch TFT instrument cluster and get access to incoming call alerts, SMS notifications and turn-by-turn navigation.
Powering the bike is an 889cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 103bhp and close to 100Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Since this is the R version, the bike gets a WP XPLOR USD fork that is adjustable while at the rear, there is an adjustable monoshock. Braking duties, meanwhile, are taken care of by two 320mm discs at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear. The bike comes with ABS settings to help slide it on trails.
While KTM India recently launched the 2024 890 Adventure R, the 2025 model may make it to the country sometime late next year.
